Room and Board
Employees living in Dornan's-provided housing have an employee service fee of $300.00 per month and is deducted from the semi-monthly paychecks. ($150 per pay period). Housing in furnished, dormitory style buildings with central bathrooms. In general all employees share a room with fellow employees. We do not provide towels or bedding. Laundry facilities are available. Internet access is available in the Spur Bar.
A majority of the employees eat and live here on the property. We have modern dormitories; however, closet and open space is limited. Therefore, it is important to plan wardrobe and personal possessions carefully and efficiently. Our summers are typically warm with day temperatures of 75-85 degrees and evenings cooling down to 40 degrees. The elevation of the Jackson Hole valley is 6,580 ft. with the mountains rising to over 13,000 ft. This mountain climate is unpredictable and it is wise to bring a medium weight jacket and some warm clothing (it snowed 10" on July 5,1993).
There is not an employee break/dining room; the Chuck Wagon restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner for employees. Deli sandwiches and fresh fruit are available in the Trading Post Grocery Store & Deli. Employees are also allowed preselected items from the Pizza & Pasta Co.. We cannot accommodate special diets.
Employees are required to maintain the condition of their room and leave it clean upon departure.
We are a drug-free workplace and living space.
We do random drug screening.

Dornans insists on a few rules and regulations in employee housing. Before deciding to apply, please read these and understand them. They will be strictly enforced.
Possession of firearms of any kind is prohibited.
Possession of controlled substances is prohibited. All employees are subject to random drug testing. Employees will be required to submit to a drug and or alcohol test under the following conditions: after a work-related injury or incident or suspicion of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Refusal to submit to such testing during the course of possible employment could result in disciplinary action, up to and including discharge.
We have quiet hours in our employee housing/dormitories from 10 p.m. until 7 a.m. We simply ask that you respect those hours of quiet time and your fellow employees' right to get a peaceful night's sleep.
Non-employees are not allowed in housing areas. Overnight guests are not permitted.
Underage drinking is prohibited and will not be tolerated. The legal age to consume alcoholic beverages in Wyoming is 21 years.
Absolutely no employee parties on any of the Dornans Property.
A $100.00 housing damage deposit is required. Deposit may be taken from first paycheck.
We do not allow pets.
* Employee housing is designated non-smoking. Violators of the smoking policy may be subject to termination.
