Spur Ranch Home
Considering a month or more stay? We have an option to consider.

The mornings are breathtaking, the river is flowing, the snow is calling, and the mountains are majestic. Sitting on the porch, watching the mountains and river is a beautiful way to spend the afternoon. Curl up on the comfy couch, and read that book you've been hoping to have time to do. Or take that hike, and return to relax in front of the Flat Screen, or with a good book.

What are you doing this fall and winter? The house is available for rent this winter - close to town, yet far enough away to seem remote.

A home you can settle into and get the feel of the Valley. The house has Wi-Fi, and amenities to make it THE place to snuggle in and work or play.

An opportunity to enjoy our delightful area longer.
Please call Earle or Lisa at 307-733-2522 to discuss how long you would like to stay in Moose.

Spur Ranch Cabins
Dornan's Spur Ranch Cabins have a natural wildflower meadow common area during the summer, and a snowy meadow during the winter, on the banks of the Snake River with stunning views of the Grand Tetons. Surrounded by Grand Teton National Park, we are also within easy driving distance of Yellowstone National Park (45 miles) and the town of Jackson (12 miles).

We are a small, family-owned resort, with 8 one bedroom and 4 two-bedroom duplexes. Built in 1992, the cabins are attractively furnished with handcrafted lodge pole pine furniture. The bedrooms feature queen sized beds with down comforters. The kitchens are spacious and fully equipped and the living/dining area is spacious and quite comfortable. Each cabin has a covered porch to enjoy the Tetons views and BBQ grills are on an attractive brick inlay design, next to the porches during the summer season. We do not have televisions or fireplaces, we hope you will simply enjoy the surroundings. In the summer of 2011, we added the Spur Ranch House to the options for lodging. It is a three bedroom home. Please call for information on its availability.

We do not allow pets, they need a vacation from their owners!

Spend an enjoyable evening sitting on your deck and watching the sunset - worth the visit!

Our 10-acre complex includes a grocery store and deli with many gourmet items, gas pumps, gift shop, nationally renowned wine shop, two restaurants (one seasonal) and a bar with a magnificent view of the mountains. In the summer season we offer mountain bike, canoe, paddle-board, and kayak sales and rentals, espressos and ice cream. In the winter, cross-country skis and snowshoes can be rented from the Trading Post.

Snake River Angler is open May to October for the fly-fishing enthusiast. Moosely Mountaineering is open mid-May to October for climbing needs as well as great deals on outdoor items.
Adventure Sports is open May to October, for your biking and canoeing pleasure.
Barker-Ewing Scenic Float Trips has a booking desk from mid-May through September.
Just across the river are the Grand Teton National Park Visitor Center, the historic Menor's Ferry site, and the Chapel of the Transfiguration.

What are your autumn, winter, and spring plans? We are a delightful location. The snow on the peaks, and the spring 'awakening' of the Valley are joys to behold. Enjoy the 'slower' time in our valley.

During June, July, and August we have events on Friday and Saturday evenings at the Chuckwagon. A favorite local spot for weddings and parties! Often times, there is music until 10pm. We stress to our clients that all noise needs to end at 10pm.

During June, July, August, and September the Hootenanny is at the Chuckwagon every monday evening from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Free to the public. A wonderful experience for all who attend. Want to perform? It is an acoustic Hootenanny, so you need to be here by 5:30pm to sign up.

Use our online reservation system (click on the green button above to reserve a cabin) or please give us a call to check availability! We know you will enjoy your stay.

Meet Milo the Moose!
Some people wonder why our lovely little town is called Moose, WY. Milo's here to explain!

We're fond of Milo, but he's a wild creature. Please treat him with respect and let him keep his distance. If you're quiet, you'll get some dynamite pictures!
