RENT A BIKE TO TOUR GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARK
 |
Explore Grand Teton National Park on Two Wheels!
Last summer, Grand Teton National Park opened an eight-mile paved trail that extends from Adventure Sports at Dornan's to south Jenny Lake.
Grand Teton National Park finished the section from Moose to Jenny Lake of the excellent new pedestrian/ bike trail the spring of 2009. The trail allows visitors to travel through the park as far as Jenny Lake without ever having to share the road with a car, truck or RV.
The best thing about this terrific bike path is that it starts, like many outdoor adventures in Grand Teton National Park, at Adventure Sports. So even if you didn't come to Jackson Hole with your fat tires pumped, ready to hit the trail, we'll set you and your entire family up with mountain bike rentals for kids and adults! The kids will love riding from Moose to the lovely new visitor center to earn their Junior Ranger badges, whether they're pedaling their own Diamondback or Giant mountain bike or riding in comfort in a trailer behind yours. All bike rentals include helmets.
This summer, Grand Teton National Park is offering discounted admission for visitors using the multi-use pathway. From November 1 - April 30, entrance via the pathway is free (but not always clear).
Come by Moose and see us, or if you're planning your trip to Jackson Hole, call us at 307-733-3307, or 307-733-2415, ext 302. We are OPEN for your biking needs.

Mountain Biking Jackson Hole
The new bike trail offers convenient access to some excellent mountain biking in Grand Teton National Park. The RKO road is an unimproved road on the west shelf of the Snake River. The trail offers gorgeous views, and terrific wildlife sightings along the river, but it's very rocky.
Excellent mountain biking opportunities can be found all over Jackson Hole. Our favorite trails are on Shadow Mountain, in the Bridger-Teton National Forest from Antelope Flats Road in Moose. Shadow Mountain offers a more aggressive mountain biking area with endless miles of single track trails and one strenuous hill climb. The aspen forests open up to spectacular views of the Tetons.

We got some great new bikes this summer for exploring both the roads and the trails around Jackson Hole. Our good bikes include our collection of Giant and Diamondback mountain bikes, in a variety of sizes.
We've also invested in some more specialized bikes this year, for those wanting to power through the park. The road bikes have skinny tires to help you maintain speed across Antelope Flats. The full suspension bikes have front and rear shocks for when you're bumping down the RKO road through Grand Teton National Park. The 29er mountain bikes feature 29-inch wheels for smooth cruising on bike trail to Jenny Lake. Our hybrid electric bikes give your pedaling more power wherever you go in Jackson Hole. Whatever your needs are, our friendly staff will help you find the bike you need for your Jackson Hole adventure.
